Pride costs us more than hunger, thirst, and cold.
— Thomas W. Jefferson

Hi.

I'm Andrew.

I knew very early in life what my purpose would be. I knew how I would make a living and where my passion lied. Lay. Laid? Lost all meaning …

Anyhoo – the path to success (WIP) has been less evident and painfully less concise.

I have been in the industry since I was a junior in high school. I started out in a vinyl sign shop, and worked on the side as an apprentice to a  fine artist/commercial sign painter. I turned down a scholarship and moved into the printing and desktop publishing space. This opened the door for me to teach myself the Adobe Suite, which I still have a love/love relationship with to this day.

The next formative span in career and life was a (7) year stint in garment decoration. I learned about simplicity and economy of line to translate design, and ultimately information, better across all mediums. I fell head-fully-over-heels for logo development and branding. My free-lance career started in early 2017. The range of emotions in a 24-hour period is both exhilarating and exhausting, and so long as I remain warm and fed, I cannot see ever going back.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my work. Feel free to contact me if you have need for design, illustration, or someone to talk with re: wax and/or baseball.
